PROTOCOL: CLEAN_ROOM_ONLY // MISSION: PROTOTYPING & DESIGN
The Lab serves as the high-precision counterweight to the Garage. While the Garage handles the heavy iron, the Lab is where we fabricate the small-scale solutions that keep the Fiero project moving.
Work Surface Chassis: 8-foot solid butcher block deck, sealed with industrial-grade oil-based poly. Hardened against crafts, adhesives, and heavy prototyping loads.
Storage Subsystem: ReStore-scavenged white shaker cabinets. Reinforced with Liquid Nails and super glue. Used for tool inventory and raw material storage.
The Prototyping Rig: [Insert your 3D printer model here, e.g., Creality Ender / Prusa]. Dedicated to printing custom brackets, sensor housings, and interior trim components for the '88 LSJ swap.
STATUS: BLUEPRINT_STAGE
The final phase for the Lab includes a 12-foot integrated command desk on the primary wall. This will serve as the master workstation for web development (The Digital Chassis) and CAD design.
Shop Rule: No oil, no grease, no grit. The Lab is a zero-contamination zone. If a part needs a degreaser, it stays in Facility 01.
[x] Hardware functionality testing: Anycubic Kobra 2 is online and calibrated.
[/] Workstation finalized: Base chassis installed; surface is currently receiving multiple poly-coats in the garage.
[/] Cable management: Integrating power-drops for the printer and diagnostic tools.
[ ] Tooling calibration: Final leveling once the butcher block is hard-mounted.
The Lab is the engine room for our Universal Spec gear. Every transaction at shop.brokenotbroken.xyz directly funds the tools on this bench and the LSJ Donor Engine in the garage.
Fundraising Target: $1,500.00 Net (LSJ Engine Acquisition)

Profit Transparency: A single Holo-Decal sheet ($10-10.50) contributes $4.20 directly to the LSJ fund.
Field Note: "Built, not bought. Fixed, not finished." The Lab upgrade follows the same code as the car. We take what’s available, apply the sweat equity, and bridge the gap to professional results.
